The mission of Home Repair Services is

to build value and dignity by equipping lower income homeowners and their families for successful, sustained homeownership, thereby strengthening neighborhoods and our community.

We value…

Home Ownership – a way to build value, dignity and pride, and an essential component for neighborhood vitality.

We seek to “equip for success” those who have the capacity for and commitment to owning their own home, and we will give priority to the needs of lower income homeowners.

In order to sustain home ownership we also value:

Dignity – every person has inherent value.

Compassion – a commitment to care and the action to make a difference.

Resourcefulness – a process by which people creatively engage their own capabilities.

Stewardship – the responsible use of resources.

Responsibility – an integral part of ownership.

Inclusiveness – valuing the differences in others.

Professionalism – the mark of trained, focused, results-oriented people and organizations.

Health and Safety – these are some of the most basic human needs.
